How To Make $1000+ Every Month Passively With Niche Sites
I’m going to show you step-by-step how to make at least $1000 per month passive income from Amazon niche sites.
Why I use Amazon for niche sites?
You don’t have to use Amazon to monetise your niche website, but it’s one of my favourite methods because it converts so well.
Amazon have spent millions of dollars over recent years optimising their site for maximum conversions. So, when you send traffic from your niche site to Amazon through your affiliate link, you know it has the best chance of converting to a sale and earning you commission.
Another reason I love Amazon is because they are well trusted. People aren’t afraid to buy things from Amazon’s website. They also usually have the best prices online and mostly include free shipping.
We could discuss the benefits of Amazon all day, but I want to show you how to make some money, so I’ll leave you with a few more advantages so we can move on.
- Great customer service
- Lots of social proof through real customer reviews
- Commission paid out on any product sold within 24 hours.
- The more you sell, the higher the commission
How does my niche site system work?
- Choose a product category. (Eg: Drills)
- Do some keyword research.
- Checkout the competition.
- Produce some content. (Eg: Product reviews, Buyer’s Guides)
- Create a website.
- Get traffic to your website.
That’s all there is to it! Looks easy doesn’t it? Don’t be fooled by this high level overview, because there are so many things that can go wrong if you don’t know what you’re doing.
Fortunately, I’ve made most of these mistakes and learned from them so you don’t have to.
Starting out with the correct mindset!
The most important thing you need to realise before you embark on this Amazon niche site journey is that is can take 6-8 weeks to start seeing results and getting your first sales. Then it will take another 60 days to get your first commission cheque or bank transfer.
This is common with most niche sites built to generate traffic from Google search. You have to treat this like a business and you will be rewarded many times over in the longer term for big efforts now.
Although, as this is similar to a business, it comes with some risk. Every now and then Google changes their ranking algorithm and you might find that your site that was earning you an easy $1000 per month is suddenly pushed down the rankings and is earning nothing now.
Don’t worry, I have you covered. This has happened to me twice and it’s just a downside to playing this money making game with the Big G. As long as you have good content and are in full control of your backlinks, you can recover very quickly.
How much do I need to get started?
This is quite important to some people starting out if they don’t have an awful lot of money to invest in their new business venture. If you want to get a good return on investment you need to know what your expenses are going to be.
Here is a short list of your approximate startup costs:
Domain name: $10 per year
Hosting: $150 per year
Content: $20 per article
Link Building: $50 per month
Total expenses for first year: $1000
Total Income predicted in first year: $6000
As you can see, the expenses aren’t too high, leaving you plenty of profit. You can also reduce your expenses by writing your own articles or using your own private blog network for link building if you have one.
I would also recommend using a good theme package for your website such as Thrive Themes, but it isn’t necessary when starting out. You can use a free theme, but it’s a good idea to make sure it’s responsive to accommodate any mobile traffic you receive.
